The name BOWS ART is a reflection of our last name, Bow, and a subtle nod to the similar sounding Beaux-Arts, the renowned French artistic and architectural movement.
Though our styles are distinct, this connection symbolises some of the principles we embrace throughout our creative practices - balance, grandeur, spatial harmony, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Wherever you’ve encountered our work, we invite you to immerse yourself into our creative chaos and discover the stories woven into each piece.
Logan Bow is currently studying a con-joint master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design and also competes at a high level of artistic gymnastics.
Selling his first painting in 2019 at Auckland Grammar’s Art House Tour, under the teachings of Justin Boroughs, he now has moved on to sculptural forms.
Logan, with his new-found architectural understandings, focuses on materiality through compositions, densities and threshold properties.
Tyla Bow is a recent graduate of Elam School of Fine Arts and the University of Auckland, where she studied both Fine Arts and Marine Biology.
Her work merges artistic expression with environmental advocacy, often incorporating recycled and repurposed materials to highlight themes of sustainability.
Working across a range of mediums, Tyla draws inspiration from New Zealand’s marine biodiversity, using her art to spark awareness around ocean conservation.
